The VX-I-EX is the extreme pushbutton design. It was initially designed and manufactured for elevators in the Chicago Housing Authority. Illumination is achieved by four tiny holes filled with a clear epoxy resin. This resin fills the entire stem of the pushbutton, making penetration impossible. Fits a 1" diameter hole and rests on top of the cover plate.
