Programming Instructions

1.    Dial number of telephone line that emergency phone is connected to.

(PHONE MUST BE ON A DEDICATED PHONE LINE)

2.    Emergency phone will answer (GO ONLINE ) automatically after one (1) ring.

3.    When phone comes online, wait five (5) seconds before entering SECURITY CODE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

After which you should hear two (2) beeps.

4.    Enter PRIMARY NUMBER followed by #, 0, 0.

After which you should hear two (2) beeps.

5.    Enter SECONDARY NUMBER followed by #, 0, 1.

After which you should hear two (2) beeps. (OPTIONAL ENTRY)

6.    Enter *, 4. To start VOICE MESSAGE recording. You have sixteen (16) seconds to record message. Enter any touch tone to stop recording. (OPTIONAL ENTRY)

Must include in message “hit star to talk to caller” so that the receiving party answering call can have 2-way communication.

7.    Enter IDENTIFICATION NUMBER followed by #, 2, 0. After which you should hear two (2) beeps. (OPTIONAL ENTRY)

8.    HANG UP, your phone is now programmed.

DEFINITIONS

PRIMARY NUMBER is the first number that you want the emergency phone to dial when button is pushed.

SECONDARY NUMBER is the second number that you want the phone to

dial if the first number is busy or does not answer.

VOICE MESSAGE is the vocal message that you want the phone to announce

to the receiver of the call.

IDENTIFICATION NUMBER is the number selected by the customer to identify the location of the emergency phone. This number will appear on a DM-4 Monitor and/or caller I.D. located at receivers’ phone

SECURITY CODE is a select series of numbers identified by the phone to allow access to programming procedures. SECURITY CODE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 is a factory setting.
